One of the things that the werkend brings is a sense of freedom and a chanceto really catch up on the stuff we miss during the week.
But what if we don't have to wait for the weekend?!? What if there was a way to stay on track with tasks so that it doesn't spill into our weekend? After all, it's supposed to be the break from work.
I'm learning to leave my weekends alone and treat them like the break that my family and I deserve.
3 Tips On Getting The Most Out of The Weekday.
1. Delegate house work. For each day of the week. Example...schedule windows and floor cleaning for mondays, laundry for tuesday and thursdays, wednesday is for going through toys and books and organizing, and friday is for cleaning out the fridge and all the other things you don't want to do during the weekend. 🌸
2. Set the timer. Set a time during the week where you stop working ln work and play with your kids, clean your house, or do something that relaxes you, such as reading a book or making lists or whatever your jam is.
3. Let go of guilt. Your kids will only be little once, and your business will not crumble if you take a day off to do something that rejuvenates you. In fact studies show that taking regular breaks to be calm and center your self leads to more productivity in the workplace. 🌸
Don't get me wrong, I'm not an expert at any of this, but I am learning to say no to the right things and to enjoy my weekend with my husband and kids more, instead of thinking it's time to catch up on work.
