Day 2, #postlasik
I actually slept all day yesterday bc the meds /Valium that they gave me knocked me out. Surgery went well, the nurses, Dr and whole staff was attentive and ready to answer questions and help out. Couldn’t ask for a better Team!
My left eye was a little sore if I tried to opened it but once we got home, it didn’t bother me since I just slept.
I had my post-op appointment andar was hard to keep my eyes opened bc the light was too bright on my eyes.
Dr recommended to just keep putting my eye drops and to take my meds, and that it should all be healed up by tomorrow or Sunday. I currently can’t keep my eyes open for too long if I’m outdoors but normal indoor light doesn’t bother me.
Super excited about what’s ahead! The Dr said that I will have to wear my eye contact lens for another week and that after I can take it off.
Did I mention I’m excited?!! I will now be able to see the soccer ball and be able to see faces from 15ft away!! I won’t have to wear contacts nor glasses!! Woot woot!! Thank you all for the positive vibes and prayers! God is good, indeed! Oh, and #VoldVision
has “after hours seminars” where you can learn more about it and sometimes they even offer discounts on the price. I actually received a pretty big discount for attending one!! So I definitely recommend it!
Note: This is my 2nd time getting Lasik surgery. My 1st one was about 11yrs ago and I actually had to be in complete bed rest for 8-9 days after my surgery and my eyes were bandaged up so I couldn’t ope them or see anything. I was under meds the whole time so I pretty much laid /slept for 8-9days. Sooooo freaking thankful for how technology has advanced and now it’s wayyy better then before. Vold Vision has the latest tech equipment so I definitely recommend them!! #thankful
